LA Food & Wine Festival

Los Angeles Food & Wine 2013 Festival showcased some of the best restaurants and vineyards from across the country. A very full four days of events staged across the city, featuring the most prominent epicurean influencers of today; Giada De Laurentis hosted an Italian Fiesta and Iron Chef Morimoto hosted Asian night in the dramatic evening setting outside Disney Hall. As proud sponsors of the event, we participated in all four days, so I had the chance to catch up with my favorite chefs,

many of whom came to tell us that thinkThin® is a staple in their lives; for the busy day that is full of planning and prepping, thinkThin is the nutrition bar of choice for kitchen athletes. It is great to hear from some of the most discerning palettes who love the taste and nutritious value of our food. Fabio Viviani is a fan of thinkThin, but it goes both ways, I am also a great fan of his! A very energetic Curtis Stone brought his upbeat spirit to the festival stage. His philosophy is to buy local, seasonal and organic ingredients and keep recipes simple. This is something I totally agree with and strive to do. Roy Yamaguchi served a spectacular Wagyu Beef which I very much enjoyed.

It was great to see such a broad mix of people sampling really interesting food and talking about ingredients and taste.

Something that I have always noticed is that good food and wine makes people very happy so naturally events like the LA Food &Wine Festival really provide a great experience for everyone who participates.

To your vitality, Lizanne
